NOAH’S ARK
And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark; And the dove came in to him on the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.

RUTH THE GLEANER
And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commended his young men saying, let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not; and let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave the,, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not. So she gleaned in the field until even, and beat out that she had gleaned.
Ruth 2:15-17
THE GOOD SHEPHERD
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
St John 10:11 and 14
JESUS AND THE CHILDREN
And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them; and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of God. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

THE TWO MARGARETS
This window is dedicated to the Memory of the 'Wigtown Martyrs' - also known as 'the Two Margarets'- Margaret Wilson and Margaret MacLaughlan (Mrs Milliken).
Margaret Wilson and Margaret MacLaughlan (Mrs Milliken).
Much has been written about the Wigtown Martyrs, the old woman and the young girl. We give thanks that they did not lay down their lives in vain. They, with thousands of other humble and unknown folks, sacrificed their lives willingly and ensured that Christian liberty would never perish in Scotland and indeed throughout the world. We give thanks for their faithful witness for Jesus Christ the only King and Head of the Church.
My sins and faults of youth, do Thou, O Lord, forget;
After Thy mercy think of me, And for Thy goodness great.
Psalm 25:7
Sung by Margaret Wilson as she prepared to meet her Lord.
THE COVENANTER’S FLAG

Romans 5:1
REFORMERS WINDOW
Receive yet one, the crown of all the earth,
Thou who alone are worthy! It was Thine
By ancient covenant, ere nature’s birth;
And Thou has made it Thine by purchase since
And overpaid its value with Thy Blood.
THE BI-CENTENARY OF THE LOYAL ORANGE INSTITUTION OF SCOTLAND
This book of the law shall not depart of thy mouth: but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest.
Joshua 1:8-9
